All-en-Wood LLC furniture restoration shop was established in 1973 by Michael Allen, an old school master craftsman, whose passion is restoring antiques and old-fashioned furniture into unique works of art.

 

Mike found his niche at age 18 when he restored an oak roll top desk salvaged from Jordan School District.  He learned the art of canning and appreciation for period furniture, artifacts, and history living in New England and Mid-Atlantic states in the early 70’s.  Determined to bring his talent, knowledge and skills into the specialized custom craftsmanship business he subsequently founded and grew for 5 decades and counting, he has serviced and happily satisfied a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from corporate to residential, commercial to nonprofit, government to private sector.

 

Mike’s experience, knowledge and abilities are applied to every job to bring each individual piece back to its original splendor and beauty.  Some jobs have historical significance.  Others are prized vintage and collectibles.  Retro and vogue mid-century modern redefined.  Even simple cherished family heirlooms thoughtfully restored.  Of course, everyday working furniture can be brought up-to-date and given new life.
